"GOLF IN THE NOW" ...What is it?
To play your very best golf, you have to be in the moment. In other words, you have to be in the present, focused only on the shot at hand. When a golfer can do that, he or she is “in the now.” |
|

 |
Why is being "in the now" so important?
Players who constantly struggle with their performance on the course will often add up their scores prematurely, saying something like: “If I can just par in, I will have my low 9-hole score of the year!” Or, they will constantly berate themselves for making mistakes: “I can’t believe I just 3-putted from six feet….I am so stupid!” Staying in the present, being your own best friend, and leaving the past behind is vital to getting the most out of your next shot, and ultimately the entire round. |

Golf's ultimate challenge
Golf is not just about hitting shots, though. It’s also about handling adversity and the various obstacles placed before you for 18 holes. Navigating your way around the course requires you to stay “in the now” each and every shot. That is our ultimate challenge. |
